In 1985, he developed one of the first models to effectively predict the attenuation of soil vapors into homes. His understanding of the relationship between environmental factors, building science, and the forces that drive vapor intrusion makes him an invaluable project asset. Tom is a sought-after speaker and consultant. He has authored multiple technical papers and contributed to codes and standards. Tom’s methodologies and drive to standardize excellence have led to delivering over 11,500 successful radon, vapor intrusion, and methane mitigation systems.
