Phil is a Principal Scientist at SiREM with more than 25 years of experience focused on environmental microbiology, molecular genetic testing, enhanced bioremediation and technology commercialization. He currently directs molecular genetic testing services, next-generation sequencing and is the innovation lead for SiREM’s research and development program. Phil is currently a member of an ASTM team developing standardized methods for molecular biological tools for environmental monitoring.
