Mr. Raes is the Director of Remedial Services for Bio-Enhance. Mr. Raes has over thirty (30) years of experience in the investigation and remediating complex environmentally impacted sites, including forensic investigations, expert testimony pertaining to illegal fill deposition and comingled plume disputes, and regulatory site closure for several foundries, paint, wood treatment with chromated copper arsenate, and metal fabrication manufacturing facilities.

His current focus area is the application and advancement of microbial science to discern fact from fiction when it comes to site remediation. In support of these efforts, Mr. Raes has implemented numerous enhanced bio-degradation remedies throughout the United States. As a subject matter expert, Mr. Raes was one of the authors for the Interstate Technology Regulatory Council (ITRC) Guidance Document for the use of Environmental Molecular Diagnostics.

Mr. Raes and Kerry Sublette, Ph.D. co-founded Bio-Enhance in 2012 to manufacture and promote the distribution of a novel but emerging remedial technology the In Situ Bio- Reactor (ISBR). The Bio-Enhance ISBRs are a unique remedial technology that promotes the growth and migration of the indigenous microbial communities well adapted to bio-degrade petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents and emerging compounds such as 1,4 Dioxane.
